I know it's not going to happen, but I really hope we've exhausted the possibilities of moving down south, even to the conference.
ps - I still don't understand how we can end up in Division 1. The SPL don't have that authority, and the SFL have said if we apply we'd need to go into Div 3?
pps - If we go to the SFL will season ticket prices be revised, and how will we get an entire new team in given most players will have relegation release clauses.
SPL could in theory accept our application to the SPL, however decide to relegate us retrospectively.

We'd end up that way if we ended up back in their league with 5m sanctions up our arse anyway.
I think the only sanction they would put on it relegation, anything more would be extremely severe.
However they may do a "Leeds" relegate us and deduct 10/20 points so its harder for us to win promotion...

Division one means those clubs who vote 'no' survive with the same money from Sky. I don't really want to do those fuckers any favours.
I don't really want us to spend 3 years in the wilderness

Except the SFL have said that if we join them, it's D3 or not at all. Which is fair enough.
I think SPL will accept our application however as a punishment will relegate us, therefore the we wouldn't need to apply to the SFL

I would rather Division 1 than the 3rd.
Would our revenue change much? Sure no lucrative tv deal however...
Would playing the likes of Dundee, Raith Rovers, Dunfermline, Falkirk and Hamilton be much different from
St Mirren, St Johnstone, Ross County, Kilmarnock???
I mean I think the change of scenery would be exciting for a season!

Excuse my ignorance lads, but who is Jim McColl?
Scotland's richest man

Is it too late??

Yes. Some of our league titles were won before the old company was formed. The league titles are not tied to the company. They are tied to the club which is continuing.
This!
Try explaining that to one of the dhims though... their small brains can't grasp the concept

Clyde reporting Souness in background
In what capacity?!

Let's be clear. McCoist's resignation blows (or should blow) Green's credibility out of the water.
Given their statement, it's now HMRC's responsibility to deliver the club's assets into the right hands. No excuses.
Does it though Frankie?
That's a bit naive - I mean if Green really wanted to keep the fans on side he would want to keep McCoist i.e like Whyte did.
Maybe Green has other plans?

I hope Ally comes out and gives his reasons, totally baffled just now.

From what I gather the Sun is very much lapping our situation up today. So I wonder why Naisy would choose to speak to them.
Correct, I for one will not be buying a Daily Record or Sun again after their front pages today.

its darrell btw.
Damn spell check... Doh!

aye maybe and maybe green and whyte are just different sides of the same coin.
Benefit of the doubt needs to be applied in this situation Daryl...

d&p are saying they said it certainly. but they would.
The HMRC statement outlines the fact as well.

my belief is and always has been tbk would have got a cva.
I can't prove it though tbk may well be able to. very little will change my mind on this.
I very much doubt it...
HMRC seem to be saying they were never going to accept a CVA no matter who was buying the club.

Naismith signed a new deal when the banks were in charge and it was reported to be around 15k at the time.

Quite right, I too made a generalised assumption. But I suspect mine is correct
Ha your right I'm more of a Juve fan

He says lots, and you've decided he's correct. Without any evidence. A total generalisation from someone who doesn't even support Milan. And you agree with it. I say vast majority, given my dealings with fellow supporters over the years, and I'm wrong. Despite coming from a position of experience.
I think I'll just leave this debate now Pete.
Oi Danny!... How do you know I don't support Milan

I see McCoist is in the sun saying that Gatusso has been offered mega money from China and the Middle east but wants to come home!

I don't get Paul Murrays argument about not being interested in global branding, surely by increasing our profile abroad would help bring in extra revenue!

King is too late

If guys like shepherd are willing to invest we will be ok

I really hope Green does have backers however it would be naïve to expose them before a CVA is agreed as it could stop creditors accepting.
