Surely if there was genuine wrong doing by the RST with any money at all it'd have been all over the red tops.

The press and non Rangers supporting public at large hate us, this would have been absolute gold for the Rangers haters if they had, and I bet it has been looked into by haters

Totally agree. Also if Chris had gone at him hard there's a chance he wouldn't be invited back onto national TV as it would have been seen by the producers as an attack which they don't want, they want reasoned debate and Chris gave the, that in a very well mannered way

He boxed clever, looked smart and have us all a moment we have waited for for years. I got goose pimples when the camera panned on Spiers, you could see him wanting the ground to swallow him up.

Sadly, the guy is one of Scotland's top mainstream sports writers 54. Calling him a tim c**t won't bother people here, but I just thought it wasn't really appropriate given that Scottish media folk look in on the forums. As I said on that other thread, it's a rollercoaster of sorts with English. At his high points, he's an educated, knowledgable and reasonably well balanced football writer and pundit, but his low points let him down big time as he slips into spells of pretty nasty Rangers-hating and shit-stirring. Traynor's of pretty much the same mould: All pally pally and nicey nicey one week, then stabbing clubs in the back the following week because his boss is on his back to write some controversial, newspaper-selling back page drivel.

Out of all the journos in this nightmare we've been through, his fall from brace has been the worst. He was very well balanced then over night it was as if he got a drink problem and obtained a huge chip on his shoulder.

I unfollowed him ages ago but started to follow him again, not much has changed

I want us to have proper ambition. frankly I'm not sure what people mean by we can't repeat the mistakes of the past.

Ambition and cash are not exclusive. A well thought out business plan along with a very successful scouting regime are the way forwards now.

People need to wake up and smell the coffee and make huge adjustments. We need to accept this is the way it is, and rightly so.

It might be used by paedophiles but there are many legitimate reasons to use it - avoidance of identity theft, fraud, spam, vriuses etc as well as things like Wikileaks etc. Just because you want privacy doesn't mean you necessarily have something to hide - or should we not be allowed private phonecalls, locked houses, secure files etc?

I thought this was more to do with people that can't afford to buy the £500+ shares. So the RST offer them the opportunity to buy into at a far lower rate therefore allowing Bears to own part of their club?

I doubt many will buy any more than the £125 share, these a more symbolic shares to hang above the fire rather than An investment to make money or get a seat on the board. They'll make nice presents, they'll be passed down through generations and all that.

People are looking far too deep into this.

Another point is people in general don't have a clue how stocks and shares work, I have shares in a few companies but have no idea how it works, I give cash to a friend and he do it for me.

People can be scared of banks too, so being able to give the RST the cash to get their share may well seem like a far easier option than sitting down with a broker in a bank that may try and manipulate you into doing something else
