  1. Player react to management. It's the as,e in any line of work. I'm back at work today. I have this rig manager for a week. He's weak, i do my own thing while he's here and don't pay much attention to him because he isn't very knowledgable

His back to back is here in 10 days, he knows his shit and I listen to him and put in a shift for him.

The reality is there's no difference to what you do as a profession, if the leaders are weak then they must be changed

  2. Berwick in 1967 was the worst ever result and Le Guen the worst ever manager, that said I recall Scot Symon getting fired by old Lawrence whilst his team sat at the top of the First Divison.

Walter has to be brought back in an advisory capacity.

Ally had a worse record after the same amount of games in charge as PLG

  3. I'd welcome it. As many say Ibrox will still be Ibrox. But i do understand why some traditionalists wouldn't want it. If it doesn't happen i'm fine with that too.

What people should bear in mind is the main stand, being a listed building can't be touched so there's no danger of a sponsor being plastered over that great building.

  4. An eye on him sure, but nothing leads me to believe he's going to wreck us like the last two, even if he's getting a bit over excited with some of the marketing potential.

End of the day we'd not be happy if he wasn't engaging with fans like this.

I totally agree. He isn't here to wreck us. He's getting on in life and I'd guess he will be loving this. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity for him, he may not have realised that when he initially got involved, but I'd bet my bottom dollar he does now.

I think he'll be loving it, the reaction from the fans, and the hate from the shitpigs combined will give him the extra adrenalin boost to take this head on.

At times he does get over excited, he has said things that we won't see, but its not going to drag us into the dark ages if it doesn't happen.

He has stabilised us, he has got the fans on a high, but there is still a long way to go

  5. I'm not going to be complete cynic and refuse to believe someone on principle, no.

Rightly or wrongly I like the guy and am comfortable with him.

"Comfortable" is a good word and where I am. I'm sure most of us with a bit of Savvy will have an eye on him though. Obviously there's people on this page far more savvy than me and can dissect what he says into a simplistic form for doughnuts like me to understand :)

  6. At no time did he say Apple were interested. He used it as an example -i.e. if Apple wanted to give us money to name it i-Brox stadium he would be delighted to take it.

He also talked about a European League, linking up with Asia and the Far East and I kept thinking I had heard it all before.

Thanks sir. I'm not a salesman, but to me using the hypothetical situation of using Apple is a clever move as a high % of Bears will think that Apple are interested. Therefor giving CG a bit more positive PR

    Is that a good assumption?

  7. Had a couple myself mate and it stills get my anger up.

The "supporters group" I go to games with doesn't help haha. I got my first one in early 90's at a Pompey Millwall match. I'm used to them. As long as you don't bite and give them what is required by law you're fine.

It's is not a "I told you so" but I said on here a long time ago that the UB's and all the brilliant new young mad squad need to be clued up about section 60's and to expect some 6o'clockers as the cops don't like the rowdy behaviour they get fired into.

Is going to get worse before it gets better. I also wish to fuck they'd stop with the smoke bombs. The fact they keep letting them off gives the cops carte Blanche to stop and search or 60 people. When they stop with the smoke bombs then its noe less excuse the cops have to search fans

  8. Read what a Section 60 is then tell me if you fancy being treated as guilty and up to something just because you happen to be going to a football match.

I've had more section 60's than hot dinners. At old firm games I've had up to 10.

I shrug my shoulders and let the, get,on with it

  9. I was at the meeting and, to be honest, that was exactly what was going through my mind. £100m a year for worldwide media rights, £25m from the G51 development. When I asked how that was to be funded he started talking about pension funds. To me it was a sales pitch and some of the things discussed seemed a bit 'pie in the sky' to me.

Cheers. Was hoping someone that was there would comment.

  10. I think the blog is great. I haven't always agreed with what has been said, but that doesn't mean anything other than I personally disagree. The standard of writing is first class.

My issue is the blatant bandwagon/opportunism/ego that is in play here. There are hundreds even thousands of Rangers supporters groups, associations, message boards etc that have firmly placed cemented themselves with in our massive support estimated between 3-5MILION people. Yet here we are with a group with SIX to TWENTY people involved manoeuvring themselves into a position that they shouldn't be even close too.

If this was another football club we would be laughing at the situation.

If you can't see the issue here, and the opportunism in play then your blind.

This shower named Rangers Unite or what ever they are are as bad and need to shit the fuck up too

  11. We were invited - INVITED - to the meeting by the people that organized the meeting. Take it up with them.

***And honestly, you accused me of chasing hits. If that was the case I would've published the release when I got it before any of the other forums/sites/blogs had it up. So get off my ass.

    No. Sorry.

  12. Twenty seems a completely arbitrary number. I'd say 19 would be enough to levy endorsements. Or six.

This is about your ego. NOT Rangers. It's about getting hits on your site. Aline yourself with one if the organisations and don't make our club more foolish.

  13. I don't get this but yeah...

CRO = Shane, Andy, Andy, Bill, Peter, Robbie = 6 + a few guests sometimes + Nessinator. And we're not a SG, we're a blog. (One of the better half-decent ones, at that)

We write some stuff, people enjoy it, we got invited to a meeting or two, that's about it. As I said on RM for me personally it's more of a 'fuck you' to the SPL sides. Finances mean shit to me. They're all going to be ringing their bankers asking for extensions come Christmas anyway.

And no, I don't attend the meetings because I live in the US.

    Good enough?

Less than 20 people involved yet people seem fit to say you "endorse" issues relating to the club.

    Jesus Christ

  14. Ah right ok. So are they getting involved in the treatment if the fans in BF1 or the away fans being Section 60 searched? Be interested to hear what progress is being made because I'm doing a couple of articles on it.

Is a section 60 a big deal if you have nothing to hide?
