The media need to ask why the likes of Tommy Burns, Davie Hay, Billy McNeil whom are all die hard Celtic fans never got this shit. I'd say all three of those guys got a lot of respect from Rangers fans because they were good honest Celtic men that didn't hide the fact they were Celtic fans as well as players and managers.

Ultimately it's Lennons background, who he mixes with and his public hatred of anything Rangers. Now he's the manager he is trying to portray a facade that butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. We have no idea who is responsible for this campaign, for all we know it could be due to some sinister skeletons in his closet, so any "Bear" who even entertains this needs their head read.

Obviously this is aimed at me. This is nothing to do with rangers it's showing solidarity, and rising above them and their vile train of thought. They would not expect it, and it would scunner the people in the press with a agenda against us.

I've heard a few rumours about this and possible counter chants from the Gers fans like a 2mins bouncy etc. but heard one that got my attention.

Aye. We all hate Lennon, but this is too far. The whole football world is looking at this now and the Tims are dying for the guy to be a staunch Rangers fan which will in turn end in letter writing and all sorts off attempts to ruin us which will be hard to defend.

Dave King was never ever going to walk away from a situation where his �£20 million investment was only worth �£600,000 ( thanks Bluedell) , now if this proposed bid attains a higher level of investment in the squad whilst still getting rid of Murray and at the same time increasing the number of high worth investors then it should be looked at .

I have been thinking about the whole thing all night as i am sure you all are.

With out boring you all with a long drawn out post, i genuinely think that this is a positive. YES i know they have been in charge through this bad period, but may be they were waiting on a bid from outside before making a move themselves to see what SDM did????

I have now changed my own mind and feel the new investment would be the best idea, as has been said, a group of high end investors is better than one. Obviously there are dangers with that, where does the buck stop and who gives the final stamp of aproval when a major investment is to be made in the transfer market or stadium improvements?
