  1. https://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/football/hearts/hearts-owner-ann-budge-says-no-titles-and-no-relegation-only-fair-spfl-solution-2541646 Oh dear, might she spit in the Scum's title champagne pot?
  2. We could also spend it on 1/3 of the team's weekly wages ...
  3. You would hope that any cash we get we'll straight donate to Erskine or the like.
  4. ... and rest assured, should next season be closer than this or we are ahead of them, they will whip up strict liability and rob us points for TBB and the like, nae problem.
  5. At least that "moon" is a world wide Sky Sports audience (and reporters) who listen to one of the legends of the world game. There is no-one better to say loud and direct what shambles and criminal behaviour goes on in Scotland ... he will be listened to. And if someone like SG says this, UEFA will most likely be more open to investigating the corruption in the Scottish game just now.
  6. Next step could be: Reporting Platform UEFA has developed, and finances, a number of initiatives designed to protect the integrity of European football. They include in particular: A confidential reporting platform: The UEFA Integrity Platform (desktop and app) allows individuals to provide valuable information to UEFA concerning match-fixing or corruption. This may be information concerning a match, a player, a match official (a referee or an assistant referee) or any other individual linked to football.
Integrity matters are administered by the disciplinary and integrity unit, which is headed up by Emilio García under UEFA's legal affairs division director Alasdair Bell. https://www.uefa.com/insideuefa/protecting-the-game/integrity/index.html#reportingplatform Not least since the SPFL essentially goes against UEFA directives.
  7. The big problem is ... the world will not care. Scottish football is insignificant even on a bright day without war, Corona et al. What happens in that dark place behind Hadrian`s Wall where males run about in skirts is of no concern to anyone. And in 3 months time, no-one will care anyway. UNLESS ... someone takes the SPFL to court over this and attracts worldwide interest (albeit diminished by the tragedy goin on out there). UEFA may take note though and does not like associations in legal quarrells.
  8. We can but wait and hear what Rangers will make of it. Should we go against it, rest assured, we and only we will get the blame if any other club folds or gets into trouble, despite the fact that the SPFL can very well hand out money just now.
  9. Someone has to legally challenge the vote then ...
  10. .. would fit right into Scottish clan mentality. Being lead down the garden path again, accept cheap money and then get fooled around. Would serve them all well enough.
  11. ... but they will probably get more money from a improved media deal ... thanks to the tireless and selfless work of the SPFL high-ups. ?
  12. Sayest MacLennon: ... you cannot make it up. What a scumbag ... and he thinks he gets away with it.
  13. Just the stuff they decided beforehand, i.e. the lower leagues go first, then follows the Prmiership automatically. And rest assured, in an hour or so, they will declare the Scum champions.
  14. Stranraer issued a statement, supporting Partick`s point of view and any legal challenge ... but would welcome league reconstruction.
  15. I see people complaining about China or North Korea or whatever "regime", match or game fixing in Italy or what have you, but when you look what goes on in Scotland on various levels, words simply fail you. If the SPFL takes that vote and counts it, I reckon hell break lose. If not, well, there are no words to describe this any longer ...
  16. Be that as it may, the vote was sent and did reach the SPFL, even via the spam folder et al. It got a time stamp when it was sent in Dundee's account and also when it was received, spam filter or not. Would have to double check where it was mentioned, but by the Articles of Association a letter/mail/you name it counts as delivered when it was sent. There is no reason why Dundee or anyone else should get a re-vote, even if someone wrote that the mail shall not be counted. Going by that logic and common sense and integrity, any other club should afforded the chance to "re-think" ... now that it has become clear that the deadline was no real deadline. With regards to the latest Dundee statement, it just looks to be a more articulate and longer version than the previous, saying in essence, nothing.
  17. The Dundee statement out just now reads like ... we don't know and don't want to d anything ...
  18. You would hope that Lady Hearts is on it too, with her legal team.
  19. Bribery springs to mind ... Failure of commercial organisations to prevent bribery Section 7 creates the "broad and innovatory offence" of the failure of commercial organisations to prevent bribery on their behalf. This applies to all commercial organisations which have business in the UK. Unlike corporate manslaughter, this does not only apply to the organisation itself; individuals and employees may also be found guilty.[21] The offence is one of strict liability, with no need to prove any kind of intention or positive action.[22] It is also one of vicarious liability; a commercial organisation can be guilty of the offence if the bribery is carried out by an employee, an agent, a subsidiary, or another third-party, as found in Section 8. The location of the third-party is irrelevant to the prosecution— according to David Aaronberg and Nichola Higgins in the Archbold Review, "therefore, a German business with retail outlets in the UK which pays a bribe in Spain could, in theory at least, face prosecution in the UK". Under Section 7(2), the commercial organisation has a defence if it can show that, while bribery did take place, the commercial organisation had in place "adequate procedures designed to prevent persons associated with [the organisation] from undertaking such conduct". Under the Act's explanatory notes, the burden of proof in this situation is on the organisation, with the standard of proof being "on the balance of probabilities".[23] Guidance was published by the Secretary of State three months before the Act came into force. The Guidance sets out 6 principles to be followed by business. They cover such topics as Proportionate Procedures, Top-level Commitment, Risk Assessment, Due Diligence, Communication (including training) and Monitoring & Review. The one firm conclusion to be drawn from the Guidance is that every commercial organisation that might be subject to the rigours of the Act needs to have a code of conduct in place that appropriately reflects the Guidance and to ensure its personnel are fully conversant with the risks and adequately trained. If it is then charged with the offence of failing to prevent bribery, it would be able to show evidence of the ‘adequate procedures’ which it will need in order to defend itself. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bribery_Act_2010#Failure_of_commercial_organisations_to_prevent_bribery But bigger legal brains than mine are required.
  20. As I said, someone has to take this to court if need be.
  21. Yeah, a fine myth. If they kew their history though, they would know that Brother Walfried was as fine a specimen of a religious bigot that you can find and built the whole club around that. Straight from their own history books pre 2000.
  22. The Celtic cabal needs to go. They have been in place for ages and presided over the expulsion of Rangers against the rules, the liquidation of the SFL after bribing the Championship clubs and now this. They have instated a CO that does Celtic's biding .. littered with Yahoo followers. Root them out, Rangers! Stand tall, SPFL members!
  23. Hearts' statement: https://www.heartsfc.co.uk/news/article/chairmans-update-12-april-2020 ... words fail you.
  24. That would just be the icing on the cake of this fiasco. If they press then through with all they want, football in Scotland is well and truly f@cked.
  25. Yep, essentially restart season 2020/21 as the status quo were at the start of 2019/2020. One one gang would howl at the moon and must be quitened before they press any plans for their tainted title through.
