  1. Formations aren't an issue, as long as we play well & win.

What is worrying is playing players out of position for no apparent reason.

Moving a player out of position to accommodate putting another name on the teamsheet isn't a good idea.

The teamsheet should be based on current formation, opposition formation & squad availability, among other factors. Sometimes it appears as though the teamsheet is done before any of the rest is decided & that names are on there, just to be on there really.

  2. I'm not sure where his allegiences lie but he played a blinder yesterday, more of the same please.

I agree 54AC, I think his game lifted us. Black was impressive to & Ayg.. Ayrg..the Greek guy played great too.

  3. Today was the first game I missed this season, I doubt I'll make any games on a Sunday. I'm quite disappointed though, just watched it back on ESPN & it looked electric.

There has definitely been a better feeling this season, perhaps amplified by the negativity & concern at Ibrox for the past few years.

Whatever the reason, Ibrox should be sponsored by McDonald's cause' I'm lovin it..

    CHEEEEESE.

  4. What calibre has McCoist actually?

He's done nothing in the game as manger he has no calibre and he won't get any if he's doesn't improve and quickly.

I didn't say anything about him being manager. Maybe stature would have been a better word.

I agree that he needs to improve as manager. I just can't see anyone better who would be willing to take on the task at Ibrox.

  5. Our away days have been shocking, no doubt about it. However, we are in division 3, arguably the worst league in Britain.. we should be THANKFUL that someone with the calibre of McCoist is at our club. Who could we really convince to manage us now?

Are we going to have a thread like this after every game? There was even similar threads after we won 5-1.

    All I'm reading is;

Our most successful manager, was rubbish.

Our top scoring striker of all time, was rubbish.

Our current top goalscorer for the season, is rubbish.

Our team has to change, Ally has to change.. but with comments like that our supporters need to change too.

  6. These arguments are getting boring.

Everyone has different opinions, and are entitled to it. Completely dismissing or mocking someone because you disagree with their opinion is petty, & is not what forums are for.

  7. I took alot of positives from today. Competitive football, a full squad of players, 49000 fans, TV's working, CG speech.. All could not have been guaranteed 3 months ago.

Third division teams, for me, play more attractive football. They actually try to play, the keep the ball down, pass the ball & they get in front of the ball. In the SPL you have 10 men sitting behind the ball waiting for a lucky break.

5-1 will do me, 3 offsides too.. how can you be unhappy? I really don't understand.

  8. Agreed. Its also ironic that so many people dislike Murray (or did) because he doesn't smile enough.

The thing is.. he used to. He used to smile, interact with the media, tell jokes, laugh.. & he was generally relaxed.

Then along came a journalist on the eve of England Vs. Paraguay.. some jokes were traded & it finished with Murray jokingly (huge grin on his face) saying something along the lines of "I'm actually off to buy my Paraguay top now".

After that there was a media frenzy about how ungrateful he was, what a dick he is etc etc. Now he uses a monotone voice, doesn't laugh, doesn't joke & to me, he seems more tense.

  9. The trouble with a lot of these "wouldn't it be funny" ideas is that usually, it wouldn't... They would probably just see us as a bunch of subservient Uncle Toms.

It's a bit like their, "Wouldn't it be funny if we went to Ibrox with a load of ice cream and jelly and fireworks?"

You rarely get one over on people with these type of "pranks", you end up just looking a bit sad.

While I agree with the sentiments of what you are saying Cal, it does seem as though it is Scotland Vs. Rangers. It would be good to have Rangers Vs. Scotland for a change, & what better way to achieve it than at the home of our arch enemies. Plus.. I bet with a bit of promotion, there would be more Rangers fans there than Scotland fans.

  10. I won't support England, but I also won't support Scotland any time in the near future. How can I support a club controlled by a governing body who has done nothing but kick us to the floor at every chance? Not just the past year.. but no favours were done in the past either, UEFA 2008 anyone?

Not supporting Scotland doesn't mean I support England. I am still Scottish, & proud of that fact.

I do, however, think it would be funny to fill the England home end at Wembley next year wearing Rangers tops.

  11. England v Scotland at Wembley. Id like to fill the home stand with blue shirts & chant fuck the sfa for 90 mins.

I was always a Scotland fan, I buy the shirts every season & attend 1 or 2 home games a year if possible. It will take massive change before I ever buy another. Not just because of tonight but a culmination of everything over the past year.

Fuck the SFA. Fuck every last person involved in that shady establishment.

    Tonight I am ashamed.
