Eck is a mixed bag manager, he seems able to work miracles sometimes but other times seems clueless, winning Birmingham their first trophy in yonks only to go down the same season was a prime example. Personally he gave me some of the best moments of my life, so while Rangers also had some awful times with Eck I can easily forgive him in the long run.

A team that Advocaat had been failing miserably with for 18 months, then when they broke up Eck got peanuts to replace them with.

People keep saying this, personally I just think Green and his investors are going for it. They'll want us to be able to challenge for the SPL in three years rather than making up the numbers. And with the transfer ban this also makes sure we don't get caught out in Division 2, Brechin showed that there's still a job to be done in these matches.

So two titles, two scottish cups and three league cups, as well as a CL last 16 run, mean nothing? I know he had some bad times but come on now. Not to mention a man with the total dignity suited to the Rangers manager job.
