I really can't predict this one. So many unknowns. I think we will be well organised but it depends how our experienced players perform. I also have no idea about Sparta Prague's quality. We have a pretty good record recently in European matches but I can't see who is going to replace Kent and Morelos' influence in that. I tend to think a draw would be a very good result for us in the circumstances.

Gersnet is blessed with people of such higher stature that there really isn't any meaningful decision to make.
..... apart from the bleeding heart lefties, weirdo Russian sympathisers and lunatics with music references that defy understanding. Apart from them, Gersnet is essentially perfect. 😁
That just about covers most of us 😂

I went for Sima. His pace made things very difficult for the Hibs defense and his 2 goals were excellent. Tav was much better, good to see Soutar getting a game, Raskin had a really good game and goal, Dessers worked very hard and took his goal really well and Lammers looked much better further forward. What a transformation from a coach who knows what he is doing. I am looking forward to how things develop with this manager. Special mention for Todd for "that" pass.

The police/stewards, not sure which, removed a photo of the pope and the Palestine flag.

Anyone else just waiting on the training video with the new manager to drop?
I'll be thinking we'll scud Hibs by 6 after watching it no doubt.
It is on youtube.

I will too. Very worthy cause. Sorry for your loss Bearger.

I will judge what happens on the park with my own eyes. You've made your mind up before a ball is even kicked. Incredible.

Hasn't kicked a ball this season yet. Hopefully gets a new lease of life under the new man.
To be fair he was carrying a big load in a number of games where he was played out of position, the set up was wrong and players were poor.

I am pretty certain that "Auf geht's!" is correct for "Auf geht es!" and "Let's go!" is correct for "Let us go!". But if you would see how people use the English Genitive ' for German abbreviations these days ... 😭 (I blame the schools, TV, internet ... )
Thank you for that explanation. Makes sense.

You wouldn't need to be a brain surgeon to work out that Butland, and many others, wouldn't be happy. Michael Beale brought them to the club and then things turned extremely nasty. I have never, in 55 years of going to Ibrox, experienced such a toxic environment. I hope that the new boss can reassure him that the losers in front of him shape up or they are gone.

Too formal. "Auf geht's!" would be the most direct version of "Let's go!"
No apostrophe dB. Just following Bill's guidelines.

Surely automatism, if implemented properly, becomes so habitual that you don't need think, you just do, even for stupid players.

I hope this is true.

12 to 11. You just know the next vote is going to Muscat.

As the days pass I have gone through my indecision, wavering, changing my mind and am back firmly in the Clement camp. I think they are both potentially good managers but I think only Clement has the European experience and pedigree and we need the European money to go forward.

Isn't it too late in terms of re-signing? he's on a long contract, no?.
I meant when he didn't resign until the last minute.

I have had enough of Goldson. I didn't want him to re-sign. I want a CH for Rangers who will dominate in both boxes, tackle and throw himself at the ball when needed. We are paying this guy a lot of money and he just isn't worth it.

Utterly sickening.

He was a disaster, entirely of the boards making.

I can see arguments for both but I will go for Clement for his European experience.

Went for Tav. That was a really pressured penalty and a brilliant 3rd goal. I feared if he missed it or they had scored we would have imploded.

Souness Returning?
in Rangers Chat

Clement refuted that Souness said that. He said it is nothing but rumours.
I think sometimes the Rangers fans are our own worst enemy and look for the negative in everything.
Successive Rangers boards have made some dreadful decisions over the last decade but now they have appointed a decent manager we need to do our bit.
