  1. Almost 40000 season ticket books worth of money? Surely over £10m.
  2. Frank J. Wilson investigated Capone's income tax violations, which the government decided was more likely material for a conviction. In 1931 Capone was indicted for income tax evasion and various violations of the Volstead Act (Prohibition) at the Chicago Federal Building in the courtroom of Judge James Herbert Wilkerson. What is the link or relevance outside the obvious word tax. Just because someone is a tax dodger does not mean they are a gangster or an evil person. I give you Sir David Murray.
  3. But that is exactly how lies grow arms and legs and over time become fact Craig.
  4. You didn't mention bills, you spoke of spending sprees.
  5. Desperation.
  6. Said this years ago. It looks bad on camera, the huge segregation and empty spaces.
  7. Whyte let Ally sign 9 new players and gave out huge contracts to 3 or 4 of our best players. That was a spree and a half and look what happened there.
  8. Are they really?
  9. A) I am not in denial but is this not just rumour, gossip and possible scaremongering? In what way are the gangsters? A gangster is a criminal who is a member of a gang. Some gangs are considered to be part of organized crime. What is the name of their gang, or should i say family, as i have never heard of the Easdale family? And what organised crime are they guilty of? They are no Daniels or Walkers that is for sure! B) What is the significance of the change in nominated advisor?
  10. Caught? Is he dodgy?
  11. That guy from BBC posted the news a full 7 minutes before our club. I wonder he was the first guy Easdale phoned immediatey after being appointed. Is this a set up here? This isn't the one who went to jail is it?
  12. Yes please, for those of us who want to know the truth. In what way? Such a damning post with nothing backing it up. What is wrong? I have just paid £365 for 2 season books, what am i getting myself into?
  13. Good to get another passenger off the wage bill.
  14. Ah, cool. Thanks for that. I thought he was arguing that we needed McCoist as a leader and fans only started supporting the club again, financially anyway, because of McCoist. No one can deny Ally played an important part, if my "opponents" argument was that simple i would simply have agreed with him, i read more into than just that though. I didn't turn it into that, that is how i read the replies to me. Ally being built up to be some sort of Super Hero Messiah type person. Of course i apologise if i am wide of the mark.
  15. Just got mine sorted for the new season. So excited, first season book in about 10 years. We normally just buy match tickets. I will be a regular in the East Enclosure alongside my son who is also buzzing for the new season. Bring it on!
  16. That's a good reply and one i both appreciate and just about agree 100% with. Cheers amms.
  17. The name Rangers Football Club, Ibrox Stadium, Auchenhowie, millions of fans worldwide, almost a century and a half of glorious history, a standard and tradition which may not be there now, but which i have grown up with etc etc. Things that no one individual can take from us or give us that make us who we are. It's a collective success and growth which is ever present and constant(material aspects apart). That is what i buy into, not some individual spouting his mouth off about things he has no clue about with respect to Super Ally, he is and has been out of his depth for the last few years. I don't go to games because he is manager or has had a nice piece of verbal in the press, i go to games because i love my club and i support my club no matter the individuals within.
  18. Imagine coming onto a fans forum with language like that giving it the big i am. Stop acting so arrogant and treat people the way you wish to be treated. The lad said, as did i, we support the club, there is your answer. The club. Now leave it out, the trolling is most unnecessary.
  19. What is straw men? You are talking like he is, like is he some sort of superhero. He is here by default, his pal got him the job and he has chosen to hang around. When i say forced i obviously mean he could not turn it down. Walter and Murray made a huge mistake passing the job onto him. What makes it worse is both those men knew our financial state at that time. Constant downsizing, ever demanding support, a desperate need annual for European football, yet they lumbered Ally with all that came with such a difficult job. All very well talking about gullible now after 20 years of David Murrays lies and a decade of mistakes. If fans had not followed along blindly then no matter what Ally McCoist said in front of a mic we would not have a club to support. Tremendous credit must go to our fans for getting behind our club in such huge numbers despite the obvious problems in the dug out and boardroom. Fans proving the club is greater than them all. You do not speak for the great bulk of the support so do not pretend you do. You are coming across like Suck, yeah, i know you have heard of him. The club itself. That is all i needed, Rangers to be operating, open for business and i am there. With or without Ally McCoist, Walter Smith, Charlie Green or whoever. It's funny you should say that about people you know because not one single person i knew had faith or trust in McCoist yet we still followed Rangers and still supported Rangers. I give you that one but my statement still stands, my assumption was every bit as dangerous as yours was.
  20. Correct, it is a ridiculous question.
  21. I could not disagree more. He is not some sort of Messiah. He is an individual forced into a managers position and given a great chance to win the hearts of the gullable. And i have already said, i didn't need one individual, i was not weak minded, i had faith, faith that my club would of course survive.Perhaps had we appointed a more appropriate manager post Walter we may not have suffered such horrendous outcomes in 2012? I am not confusing his position as manager and figurehead, or mouthpiece as some call it. Any good work he did do in front of a mic in 2012 was completely nulled by his performance in the job he is actually paid to do. One thing i do agree on is Ally being one of the clubs all time greats, of course he is and always will be. The man is a club legend, a hero to thousands. my hero growing up. Don't assume, it's dangerous. I told you i disagreed with you and did not need any one individual as any sort of figurehead. It's that simple. I had trust in my club.
  22. It didn't bother me who was an alleged figurehead, why did or do we need one? I didn't go to games because McCoist was manager, i put my money into the club last season because it was Rangers Football Club. McCoist may have been good in front of a mic at the start of the season but as soon as a ball was kicked he had fans split right down the middle, there was no unification, even now, fans are split on this figurehead i assume you claim we needed to keep our club together.
  23. Always thought he was a centre half. I see Perry is injured again. How many times. Can't always be unlucky.
  24. LM running a mock. Good stuff. The boy has tremendous potential.
  25. Huge strength in depth now. Many many options for the manager.
