  1. Because of the server maintenance, you've got less time to get these predictions in. Rangers vs Hibernian
  2. I'm disappointed in the backroom staff - I would have wanted a more tactical influence. Both of them seem like assistants, rather than coaches. Roy Makaay was a excellent striker in his day, though. I am intrigued to see what GvB has learned from his time with Pep.
  3. This gives me such nice feelings...
  4. Gio should have been crowned by now...
  5. Oops! I did not click at all, there.
  6. Anyway... 'Mon Gio!
  7. Steven Gerrard almost tearing up speaking about Rangers in his Aston Villa press conference. Just saying.
  8. When another day is almost over without an announcement...
  9. I'm feeling a bit off after getting my Covid booster and Flu jabs yesterday, but I'm raring to go for Gio's coronation day!
  10. He'll not last long if they continue to be in a relegation battle.
  11. He doesn't know. KT keeping him at arm's length...
  12. What about Koeman with Gio assisting? And Kevin Thomson remaining at Kelty?
  13. Moist von Lipwig?
  14. Is today the day?! Can I rake out my old orange Gio top?
  15. I've just realised that perhaps the reason why so many are hurt by SG's move is because he has left us for another club. Usually our managers are shafted because they've failed, or they retire at the end of a spell. It's quite unusual for a manager to leave us. I can understand why a Rangers man would be hurt by that - for us, there is no better, bigger club than Rangers. I think I've been so used to the managerial merry-go-round in the PL that I forgot that. I don't know why it took me so long to appreciate that?
  16. That's... kind of creepy. I love it.
  17. I was hoping to hear something today. It gives them time to speak with their shortlist options over the weekend. But, if they're speaking with the preferred candidate today, then it'll not be. I wonder if that fan who posted GvB's flight information is still in a job? Who's keeping track of GvB's whereabouts now?
  18. Quality over quantity...
  19. Not with Watkins and Ings ahead of him.
  20. I agree. I was merely making a suggestion. You're right, actually, because -- as you asked Bill -- I would have taken Potter from Ostersunds! I recall championing him at one point before we appointed SG.
  21. I don't mean experience in terms of longevity in the game -- that was the wrong word -- but a track record of being able to coach a side into playing a certain way. That could be as simple as over a couple of clubs, or youth jobs, or perhaps over a rebuild, like Farke did at Norwich in their Championship seasons. I see what you mean, though. I'm coming around to that way of thinking. @ascender made a good point too, suggesting that an inexperienced manager is not a bad thing if we have the DoF model, as we do. For me, any new manager has to show they can coach a system of play, and that's irrespective of experience. It's because of that I don't want Lampard, because I don't see a recognisable style in his teams. Derby and Chelsea were a bit bland, and dependent on individuals.
  22. I agree, but maybe just too soon? We might like for him to have another step at one of the top Scandinavian sides first?
