Anybody see the game? How did Kamara and Polster play?

Hopefully we see this often over the next few years: "GOAL! Kamara sends the ball into the path of Glen Middleton who fires the ball into the back of the net from inside the box."

I thought this was two different threads for a moment there, until I watched the video. It's a bit weird, but I suppose he's going with the players with which he's played.

I'm not sure he can; Sarri's an idealist.

I don't subscribe to the Kante criticism. Kante is an average, at best, player -- although a machine when it comes to winning the ball back -- therefore I wouldn't be trying to find his best position, I'd look to build the squad around better players. He's at his best in a two; anything else and he struggles. There are solutions, but I wouldn't change my whole system for him. I think there's something wrong with that Chelsea squad. How many times are they going to 'down tools'? I thought it was Mourinho third-season-syndrome, but then they down tools under Conte, and now I feel like they're doing it again. They need to stick with a manager and rebuild. I'm not sure Sarri is the one, because he's too idealistic.

I think we all agree it was a poor performance. But, when you consider how well we defended, and slogged it out against a difficult opponent, in difficult conditions, then I see a positive there. In seasons past we would've capitulated. I still expect us to be beating this team, though.

On reflection, I think we defended very well. And, we actually created a few chances -- but, we were still really, really poor up front. It's all the more frustrating, in that sense.

Arfield is so slow! He has ages to ping a pass out wide to Kent, but waits too long and actually fouls the defending player!

Worrall misses a free header 6 yards out! He's maybe reaching for it.

Why are we so complacent on the ball? Surely they know this team's going to be up for it; especially after the week in the media.

I'm getting sick of these long balls; they're aimless. A ball in behind is fine, but they're not going in behind. We actually look OK when we get it down on the floor - albeit lacking a bit of quality when it counts.

I think I'd take Arfield off before McCrorie.

With Halliday playing more inside and not going on the overlap -- which helps us to deal with counters -- we could get away with Davis on for McCrorie. I'm not sure how he'll stand up to the physicality. They're a frustrating team to play. We make them look better than they are, IMO.

They really don't like us, do they? Wonderful. They should be down to 9 men. Jack was almost decapitated, and Broadfoot committed two of the clearest yellow cards you'll ever see.

Have we got a game this weekend? There's nothing on the Rangers site, and the trusted Gersnet Calender has nothing either. They both say a week on Saturday, against St Johnstone.

I think the whole month is important. We have 5 games this month that are all winnable -- although this next game against Aberdeen will be tough. If we can get as close to 15 points as possible it'll give us a massive boost, and head start, going into a very difficult March, when we play Hibs (A), Kilmarnock (H) and Celtic (A).

The 'Gerrard is stupid for dropping Candeias' line is the most stupid I've ever read.
