  1. I've mulled over your words for a few days. Would it help you to be less dismissive if I said I have it in writing from the current Chairman of the RST that the meeting was held at the behest of Murray and was conducted on terms dictated by Murray, including the requirement that the discussions should not be made public. Murray was even unhappy that people knew there was any meeting. Of course, Stephen Smith is much too circumspect to admit an early end of the new age of militancy but we all know that it was only ever a bone to throw to a disgruntled membership at a particularly low point for a trust is disarray. As for eliminating criticism of Murray on FF, I believe the evidence speaks for itself.

So pass if you like but at least do so from an informed standpoint.

So what do we take from that ?

A meeting was held at Murrays request.

The discussions should not be made public.

    Er. That's it.

  2. Coincidentally very close to Spurs closing the deal on Gomez from PSV. I wonder if Bain waited till that door had closed before completing this deal or was McGregor looking over his options. Checking around I cant seem to find a source for how much the contract is worth, anyone know?

Whatever im very happy with the news, I dont have confidence in the understanding between the back four and Alexander. Now if he does perform well and continues to get interest from across the border at least we can have cash to replace him.

I spoke to McGregor not that long ago................he was offered a new contract 2 weeks ago. ;)

  3. Interpretation of the statement:

RST members will be aware that four members of the Trust Board met with the Club's Chairman and Chief Executive yesterday.

"Because we have a leak, everyone knows about the confidential meeting between the clique and the Club"

The main issues discussed were around the current and future relationships between the Club and the Trust.

"Despite our pleading, Sir David told us that we had no prospect of a relationship with the Club"

We are pleased to report that the meeting involved a full and frank discussion and exchange of views and concluded constructively.

"We are trying to pretend that we told him off but the reality is he kicked our egotistical asses"

Trust representatives briefly outlined a number of issues which members had raised, and it was agreed that correspondence would be considered prior to any possible subsequent meeting, following which a full report back will be given to Trust members.

"Before we had a chance to say much he threw us out and told us to put any more correspondence in writing, so we'll now go crying to our dwindling membership"

    I take it you're not a member then ?

    :moon:

  4. Then it's not an open forum is it.

The RST website is now defunct with Frankie not running it, FF is locking threads and banning people asking questions about it, so where else can it be discussed.

    Oh hello btw ;)

Don't know what you're getting at. My point is, an open Forum such as this one [and FF] is infested with Timposters and Press. Why give them free ammunition to have a go at us ?

The RST have a Forum for members. It will be up and running again shortly.

FF have a thread over 3 pages long running right now ..........and I haven't heard of anyone being banned for asking a question on that thread.

  5. Fortunately, the R.S.T. have their own website [as well as other means] where members can air their questions or grievances.

All you have to do is ask.

An open Forum like this is not the place.

Best wishes for the future anyhow Frankie and I'm sure there are many, many Bears out there who will wish you the same.

    :rfc:

  6. Does anyone else think we're beginning to lose our grip of the SPL trophy? That result today at Fir Park has really taken my dashed my hopes of winning the league.

Please let me be wrong though. :sigh:

Did you see their game today ?

    That mob WILL drop points.

  7. Enjoy it mate, was looking up flights but still far too expensive:(

Taking my youngest daughter. And my eldest daughters husband booked this morning too.

    Gonna be good. :drink:

  8. Aye mate, very good, let's just get rid of BF then and anybody else who you don't like.I also seem to remeber BF playing a superb cross field pass to Chris Burke who then crossed to allow Nacho to score against Panathinaikos :uzi:

What are you on about ? Who said get rid of Ferguson ? Ferguson didny make any passes.Burke wasny playing. Nacho didny score. And it was Werder Bremen we were playing the other night. Not Panathinaikos.

You said yourself you hadny seen the game apart from 20 minutes later.

Ferguson was p!sh against Bremen and that's a FACT.

That doesny mean he's a bad player or should be sold. It means he had a really p!sh game. That's all.

Or maybe you're just one of these guys who canny accept that Ferguson does have poor games or takes it personally when he IS criticised ?

Watch the whole f@cking game and then tell me I'm wrong.

  9. I've managed to see about 20min highlights of the second half mate,Fergie was all over the place, involved in a lot of forward runs and as always looking to be on the ball

    Aye the LAST 20 minutes.
