Who ? Arfield ?
what questions need to be asked ? Ask an opponent to not tackle him ? He was fit, and started, against Bury and Shkupi. It’s a physical sport, it’s easy to get injured. It’s silly suggesting questions need asked when his injury occurred during a competitive game
surely you realise the weariness among us when player we've just got in gets injured early doors. The numbers are so many now, how can we help feeling we've been sold a pup yet again
we all hope I'm wrong but the worry is there

"The only question is compliance, not how or where he gets the money from," added Lord Bannatyne.
"Which trust provides the money or how that money is brought to the UK is of complete disinterest to both the court and the panel."
does this mean he still has to bring the money into the UK before the offer ?

judge says he doesn't care how the offer is made but urges King to make it............is that it ?

They surely have to be thrown out - sporting integrity and all that.... oh wait that only works against one club!
it's not the SFA. it's the league cup. Previous punishments for fielding ineligible players have been fines
granted in the Scottish Cup it would mean disqualification

Uefa will be uninterested

nutter fans who love their team....fucking wankers but who cares !

Sounds like Westminster

I reckon the SFA will be happy to get it off their hands or at least kicked into the long grass
My gut feeling is that they won't go to the CAS
they'll be celebrating behind closed doors

What will be McGlennan's roll now that he's resigned ( was it him who brought the "revised charges "?)
or MacShifty should he be still on the Hampden premises ?

Because maybe it is. And also because TP said it needed to come to the UK - sending money to people in the UK to purchase their shares does NOT need a UK bank account. If he bought GBP 5 million shares then he could have sent that directly from his SA bank account without the need to have a UK account at all. Which is totally different from TP asking him to have the funds for the share offer set in escrow in a UK bank account. If they are looking for those funds to be in an account in his name he will have to go through Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation and that CAN take some time - it is taking longer and longer these days it seems.... so the two situations are completely different.
I've always found it is best to absorb the knowledge of those who know more than oneself...… (see what I did there....)
The more telling question is why it has taken SO LONG to open said bank account and whether he has even done it yet.
well an expert on tax avoidance speaks.....who can argue with that

win for us....Will McGlennan who has resigned be the SFA witness....or will MacShifty be the one.....if he's still around ?

How do you know that the money was brought out of SA ? Could also have been those people he was buying from opened accounts in SA and he transferred internally.... unlikely of course...
I don't.
One of his companies in in the British Virgin Islands....maybe it came from there. Regardless of where though he has shown he can get the money when he needs it.....and if he can, how can he argue with the TOP that it's all in SA?

I am completely supportive of Dave King and I hope for a positive outcome as we all do.

he got the dough out of South Africa to buy 30%+ of our shares
so it will be a hard sell for him
he might be a duplicitous bastard but he's our duplicitous bastard

Morelos was getting no service at all as a striker. More of a target man.
Murphy probably missed the best chance,.
we were exposed wide as we were at Ibrox ...thankfully the opposition were inept.
I expected better considering what we've spent
we really need to improve

I note Angela Haggerty's Sunday column has not appeared in this week's Sunday Herald. Maybe, Neil McKay substituted Jeanette Findlay for Haggerty?
Haggerty will appear on BBC Radio Scotland this coming Saturday morning.
apparently she's been punted by the Herald...ie got her jotters

It's quite depressing Arfield out injured already. We're all thinking we've been here before.
However a good performance tomorrow will go some way to reassure the troops

I think Spence is no longer directly employed by the BBC and works freelance. If he has indeed been bumped from Tannadice, BBC will use his employment status as an excuse not to boycott the ground
