Well done Naisy

Doubt he will see any minutes though as Burley will prefer to play McFadden, Miller, Fletch, Commons, Morrison, McCormack all ahead of him.

Rest of the squad getting announced today, no Thommo no :( i thought he would have been called in for a 3 man midfield of him, Brown and Fletcher, with Steven Fletcher up top and McCormack/McFadden playing of him !!

Hopefully Whittaker starts at left back

Always disappointed to see Rangers players turning out for Scotland. However, I'm happy for Naismith who must be delighted. I've a feeling this could finally be his season at Ibrox (that's me probably jinxed him with a bad injury now).

Langfield or Marshall.

Alexander has been playing consistently and at a higher level than those two.

It's not bias because he's a Rangers player. I would have to admit to being ignorant about his talent whilst at Ipswich. Well he's not getting a lot of exposure there.

I think Marshall will be put in as he has always been the third choice goalkeeper behind McGregor & Gordon, if he doesnt give him it , it will be a huge slap in the face to Marshall !! To be fair he deserves for being a wee tim !!

Want Alexander in but don't see it happening

Alexander, whittaker, miller and suprisingly naismith have all been named in the scotland squad for the forthcomming game against Norway.

Now given the amount of games that naismith has played how can Burley even consider him given his excuses for not playing boyd.

Methinks mr burley talks out of his behind!
