Strange night all round

Recommended Posts

I get angrier and angrier every time I see that incident. I don't think I've every seen such a stonewall penalty not given. Not just a penalty but a red card as well.

As for it being a strange night, I though that in some respects it followed a host of other European games at Ibrox - a large (anf growing) section of those in attandence are not the type of fans we require at Ibrox. This has been evident over the last couple of seasons during European campaigns.

The ref supposedly said he was going down before he was touched which to me is clearly not the case. He would have had a great chance of scoring too, so no need to go down unnecessarily, especially if he remembered those that have been booked lately for diving.

He had more chance of a goal staying on his feet than diving for a penalty.

He also didn't look like he slipped or stumbled until the contact.

We really, really need TV replays to help refs like rugby. Maybe it's me but, I feel Rangers and Scotland are more hard done by than anyone but in the end I have no qualms if it works against us, as I don't mind to losing when the refereeing is correct.

I just want a fair game.

The UEFA don't want a fair game they want the rich clubs getting richer and the poor clubs poorer. why do you think they are fighting against the use of video evidence? Because it will take away their ability to manipulate games.

Yep. And I heard today that FIFA have changed the rules at the last minute to make the World Cup Play-offs a seeded draw. Now why would they do that then?

They should just save us all the bother and pick the teams from the countries with the biggest TV revenues...
