Book : The Goalie

Recommended Posts

Thanks to Frankie I came into possession of a signed copy of this book on Tuesday night and found it such a rivetting read that I completed it last night.

If you were only thinking about getting it I would urge you to get out there and buy it, a cracking read with some very funny stories in it and he also gives his own side to some of the tabloid headlines about him, debunking a few if you believe him over the tabloids.

Also great to read about just how much the NIAR boys seem to have meant to each other.

A very good read IMO and a cracking xmas gift for someone who doesnt mind expletives in a book !

And thanks to Frankie for queuing for 90 mins to get God's autograph (Laudrup) as well as others, cheers Frankie !!

Met him a few times in my old local pub in Carluke before I moved into the town. I've got a photo of me dressed up as Vicky Pollard and Andy Goram. We're both melted!

I really only read autobiographies so I might add this one to my xmas list.

Bloody hell, that was quick!

You're absolutely welcome mate - delighted you enjoyed the book! Bluedell held my hand and we talked about love, flowers and everything in between while we waited for God's contribution! :o

One of the most endearing things about the book is that throughout it he is at pains to let everyone know he is one of "us".

I started reading it when I got home on Tuesday night and couldnt put it down, was up till 2am yesterday and then 1am this morning too.

Frankie, it really was THAT GOOD of a read. Each time you thought "Right, will stop reading here" you just couldnt stop yourself from carrying on.
