News & Reports on Rangers Youth Teams

Elfideldo - can you comment on the standard of play since Durrant took charge? Is there any more focus on a passing game? I know the results haven't been great and I'd be very surprised if Durrant turned out to be of any use.

Interesting that Sinclair's exit wasn't announced anywhere officially.

Can't really comment on the Under 20's as most of their games have been midweek afternoons. I did get to their game last week and they were well beaten by Hibs, mainly due ti their inability to defend set plays. They did have a very good result away to an Aberdeen side that are joint top, but I wasn't at that game.

I have now seen a few younger age games and there has been a definte change of style.

The Gers started with a mixture of experienced and young players, with Cammy Bell continuing in goal as he ramps up his return from long term injury.

In defence was Newcastle loanee Kevin Mbabu at right back, Craig Halkett and Scot Whiteside in the centre of defence with Jamie Mills playing from left back. The midfield lined up with Ramsay, Robbie Crawford, Ryan Sinammon and Fraser Aird, with Hardie and Gallagher leading the line up front.

You would hope McCall and Black were watching.
