SFA disciplinary procedure

Recommended Posts

On their official site it states that we can appeal even for Violent conduct if the Ref has made a mistake in his descision , however the Ref gets to look at it first and an appeal will only be held if he agrees he got it wrong , watch out for the media going for Collum big style

If he admits he got it wrong (which he won't) then what's the need for the appeal panel to review it?

Because he doesn't have the power to reduce the Red to a Yellow ,he can only recommend it , even then the panel do not need to change the decision though it is very rare they go against the Ref

Dods should also be speaking to the ref to tell him he over-reacted to it all. It was one of those that you can see why the ref sent him off - but a booking would also have sufficed.

Fair point my man - but it was fucking appalling the way Dods, a supposedly "rugged" defender, was rolling around clutching his face - only to stand up with not a mark on it, he was an ugly basturt before the "handbags" and just as ugly after !

We have 7 days to appeal and must appeal on the Referee having made a mistake , as general appeals for the sake of it will be thrown out , Video evidence is also allowed , SKY had cameras there tonight so here's hoping

I just dont see it as a red card. However, I simply cant see the ref suggesting he got it wrong because Miller was thrashing his legs around a bit - but it could just as easily have been to get them from off Dods head
