The then objective host of ra show, Peter(McGuire)Martin allowed and encouraged him to say this without impunity, he was never challenged. The irony, is that Big DJ was/is a colleague on the same radio station, been on the staff for over 20 years. Everything Big DJ won in the game falls in that period of thirty to forty years ago. Spiers constantly devalued his achievements, they were won with official assistance. He said nothing, Peter Martin said nothing, and Spiers trampled all over every non-Sellik players' achievements from that period with encouragement.
