Is Ally McCoist the answer? Should new owner's bring in their own man?

I knew he hadn't done well and that kinda reinforces my point. There are no guarantees, even if we bring in a manager with a glowing reputation.

Exactly.. even top managers with cracking squads at there disposal can have a poor run of games. Ancelotti just now for example - Chelsea have only won 2 of their last 8 games!

Ancelotti has had several bad runs across his career. He's obviously a top manager, but too many times in the past 5 years things have gone wrong for him. Mourinho never seems to get much at all wrong, other than the odd game like the last El Classico. Milan were shite in his last few seasons.

If Ancelloti gets it right, he gets it very right. IF he gets it wrong, its very wrong. He seems to struggle to change his luck. Chelsea have looked horrific for too long now
