Ness commits to Gers

Recommended Posts

Good news, the lad looks the real deal. Considering his run in the first team is his longest run of games at any level since WS came back to the club, due to injuries,he certainly has taken the opportunity to impress and would no doubt still be playing regularly now if he hadn't picked up another injury.

Let's not confuse signing a contract with committing his future. Nothing in that new contract will prevent him leaving in the summer if someone wants to make a decent offer, as per Danny Wilson.

Agreed. Still a step in the right direction though.

Absolutely. Better than him refusing a contract. Just conscious that we have almost no power to hold our best players any more.

Any and all the players are available at the right price, maybe there is a clause in his contract regarding a sell on fee?,then again!!!!!!!!!!

You would hope so but any decent agent would try to limit that kind of clause to prevent barriers to his client moving.
