Not from what I have heard, he is said to claim that his decision as far as he is concerned was the correct one, very interestingly his view appears to have been censored by the authorities.

I was being fecetious.

I haven't a clue what will happen to him, will it matter?.

Welcome to gersnet.

You don't need a motive to fall, gravity is a law of physics. With the way he was moving, even a slight touch could cause him to lose balance, or cause him to adjust to try to counteract falling, which in turn may cause him to fall. Momentum can be a bitch.

When Aluko went to ground he didn't appeal for a penalty & the Dunfermline player didn't react to the referee's decision.

I agree with Craig, I see no reason why Aluko should be punished for simulation. It may not have been a penalty, but I do not think he tried to dupe the ref at all.

Obviously we will need to agree to disagree on dive or no dive; but I have just watched the video another six times and the Dunfermline player Hardie does throw his arms in the air in apparent astonishment at the decision.

Thanks, I think it matters when a panel who were very probably not as close to the incident can overturn the man's decision who was paid to make the decision.

Aye,I follow you mate, but what I meant was will it matter now that the ban has been upheld?

Welcome also.

The referees decision is final insofar as the result of the game is concerned but the panel exists to deal with such matters where the Club does not accept the decision of the Compliance Officer.

What sanction will the referee receive, since the panel deemed his decision erroneous.

The referee's performance is subject to a supervisor's report so it will depend on whether he feels that the ref simply made a mistake, in other words he should have seen the dive; or that he was so deceived that the mistake was understandable.

Only if we decide to challenge it citing precedent of oconnor, Scion had the right idea if they think they can do what they like let them prove it.
