Jim1955 12
Send him back to Arsenal. Seems an obvious move.
craig 5,199
League is long gone. Shouldnt need him anyway. Save the wage.
Zappa 0
I'd definitely send him back to Arsenal. Broadfoot is a better option at right back while Whittaker is injured and we have Ross Perry and Papac as cover for central defence.
Danny 0
Papac is injured. We have no options for left back at all on Sunday. Re bartley good enough cb abysmal rb.
der Berliner 3,716
... Broadfoot is a "left back", while Little can play right back, right winger and striker. Has done it before. On a sidenote, Kerkar has been utilized as left back by Walter and Ally in the reserves, so we may send Broadfoot to the right and Kerkar to the left back positions. I do expect a packed midfield though, with Edu and Davis being charged to do some cover work on the wings, while McCulloch "clears" the middle. EDIT: in all honesty, I have not been impressed with Bartley since his return. Not that anyone bar Aluko has shone these last few months, but Bartley did not reach his own standards of last season. Maybe saving his wages is welcome too. Edited February 24, 2012 by der Berliner
Danny 0
PS, Papac is suspended, not injured. Either way, not available.
Zappa 0
... Broadfoot is a "left back", Not true dB. He was a center half before we brought him to Rangers, but he can play anywhere accross the back line, so he's essentially a utility defender despite the fact that we've mostly played him in the right back position.
Danny 0
Both of you are right. He played a lot of matches at LB for St Mirren, but has been awful in every position for us at the back bar being an 'ok' RB.
