STV reveals another shocking story about one of our players, sure to see him end up behind bars for 10 years ...

A Rangers player is to stand trial accused of having illegal tinted windows on his 4x4 vehicle.

Maurice Edu denies having too dark a tint on his vehicle when stopped by officers in Shieldhall Road, in the Cardonald area of Glasgow, on November 3, 2010.

He appeared at Glasgow's Justice of the Peace court represented by lawyer Bobby McCormack on Tuesday and the trial was adjourned on a joint motion by the defence and Crown.

Edu also faces separate charges of driving while using a mobile phone and without a valid licence. It is alleged the incident took place on December 13 in Glasgow's west end.

Another trial date was set for later in the year on the tinted windows charge, and he will appear on all matters next month.

... yet the most astonishing bit is the last sentence!

American Edu signed a five-year deal with the Ibrox club in 2005. The 25-year-old has made more than 100 appearances for the side.

He's been playing without contract for two seasons now! Heck, any games he's played in that period needs to be investigated and turned into 3-0 defeats for us! History has to be re-written! More investigative reporting to come!

*can someone hold my feet ere I'm going of into orbit!!!*

(Sorry, I'm in a quite sarcastical mood right now ... not least about this headline!)
