Anyone heard anything from the bidders???

Recommended Posts

With the news breaking on Monday....has anyone heard ANYTHING further with regard to any of the bidders???

Ally mentioned in his interview yesterday that Bill Miller had called him on Monday night - don't know if that's good or bad. So far nothing from any of the other camps.

Any inside info/rumours etc???

On Monday the administrators gave the impression the bidders were wanting at least a few days to ruminate over a variety of issues - which will have included the SFA sanctions.

With the SPL also expected to vote on their proposed new rules this coming Monday, I wouldn't expect any preferred bidder decision until then (though stranger things have happened).

The fact is until Craig Whyte is paid to go away, no deal will be done in any case.

Obviously, the share stuff needs to be dealt with. The same is the case with the EBt verdict, both with regards to HMRC and the SPL stuff. And soon. Mind you, a week ago we were close to a deal, now the bidders have to consider that no players can be signed for 12 months, the club may get demoted to a lower division and/or faces a points penalty for a number of seasons. You'd have to have some hard guts to stomach that. Obviously, if you do, you'd become immortal.
