Hateley fears Gers exodus

Recommended Posts

You wonder why these stars of old and Rangers Greats do not come up with headlines and articles stating that those who stay and see us through this period of turmoil would actually be granted immortality and legend status beyond the normal means of a football player.

Rangers should just cop the punishments and move on if their allowed to. As a huge Rangers fan I feel nothing short of embarrassment evry time our fans talk about boycotts. We did the wrong thing and should accept the ramifications. We all know that should Rangers get through this real crisis they will get back to the top in the long term, there is nothing surer. As for the loonies crying for their demise. Be very careful what you wish for as the end of the Scottish game as we know it could well be the final outcome.

Why all the negativity about the transfer ban? I see it as a great opportunity to have the clean out required to develop a whole new approach to the way the game is played at Ibrox and in Scotland. Ally should spend his money bringing in the best young players he can find and put together a 4yr plan to mould these players into playing the type of football we see being played by Barcelona. If we continue to set the bar low by thinking beating celtic is the be all and end all then we will have missed a once in a lifetime opportunity to take Scottish football in a new direction. It is up to Ally, Rangers Football Club and our great fans to embrace this change and to have the patience to see it through. No guts no glory.
