It'll probably say 9 bank managers turning the screw. BTW, UEFA contacted the SFA and the SPL today after di Stefano's letter. For all the fan bluster, the chairmen will probably say: "look folks, we would have wanted to vote No!, but our financial experts/backers have said that this is an either/or scenario. If you want to vent your anger, do it with them ..."

BTW, SPL with sanctions is one of the scenarios. One that Green will take on board, if the transfer embargo is lifted.

He may well accept the transfer embargo if it runs from 1/9/2012 till 1/9/2013 a solution that gets the SFA out of their self dug hole.

Th transfer embargo is a no-goer and the SFA knows that. Suspend us from the SFA cup and be done with it. If they'd ask us to play on with the squad we have we can easily call on UEFA for the lack of "sporting integrity" and fair play shown by the national association. If they are indeed found out about gross negligence with regard to their knowledge about Whyte, the SFA may be in for a rude awakening - should Rangers sue them for loss of face and income and whatnot.

First, I'd like to know what the vote will be.

Would that not be contempt.

From The Sun, black Jacks' organ off choice....

CHARLES GREEN has hatched a last-ditch plan to keep crisis-torn Rangers in the SPL.

SunSport can reveal Gers chief Green has held emergency talks with other top-flight chairmen.

He wants them to change their minds in tomorrowâ??s Hampden vote and allow Rangersâ?? newco to stay in the SPL and itâ??s believed he has offered a six-point plan of punishments in a bid to win their approval.

Greenâ??s sensational scheme would:

Back SPL voting reform and slash the Old Firmâ??s influence;

Agree a fairer split of revenue and cut payments to the Old Firm;

Accept the transfer embargo given by the SFA appeals body;

Pay all Gersâ?? football debts at home and abroad;

Take a points deduction for at least one, possibly more seasons;

Issue a public apologise for Gersâ?? past wrongdoing.

Gers had looked certain to lose the vote tomorrow after SEVEN clubs said they would not back them.

They seemed destined for Division One until a backlash from angry SFL clubs who want them in Division Three.

But such a scenario would suck £16million out of the game, wreck key broadcast and commercial deals and put even more clubs in financial peril.

Now Green has launched a dramatic final bid to convince rival clubs NOT to block the newco playing in the SPL.

The Gers chief last night insisted a No vote would damage the whole of Scottish football.

He said: â??What league will we be in? I couldnâ??t tell you.

â??There are lots of meetings to be had. My team and my board will meet the SPL chairmen on Wednesday.

â??The financial positions are very clear and without Rangers playing somewhere, it will affect Scottish football as a whole.â?

In a jibe at Norwich-bound Steven Whittaker, above, Green claimed departing Gers stars were motivated only by cash.

He said: â??The reality is that before Norwich play in Europe, Rangers will be back in Europe.

â??I donâ??t accept that this is a career move â?? itâ??s for financial gain, no other reason.â?
