the notion that celtc are as bad at this as us is outdated.

 

the players they released were the ones that were up against our youth team full of internationals.

 

roles have now been reversed.

 

In the last 3 years they have released over 32 players from their U19,s including one year when they released 9 of their Cup final team that beat us at Hampden .

 

To try and say they are better or worse is not an arguement IMHO , they are both as bad as each other , and they both spend ridiculous amounts on young players and their families to entice them to join.

 

Ironically we have a better record of bringing players through

Some of us have played for the Scotland under 16 team*... :cool:

 

 

* PS: That's an indication of the crap that can be selected and, even then, I was aware of the politics that went on re player selection.

Hang about, is this widely known? Any chance you could expand on the 'politics' bit please? Oh, and very belated well done!
