Other week we were discussing how nice and pretty the new rangers.co.uk website is.

Been frustrated all week by it.

There help pages have referneces to season 07/08

there season ticket terms and conditions still think we are in SPL

they still mention the fact about celtic games etc.

everytime the solution is always .. phone us on 0871 ( 10p per minute crap )

was initally excited and happy they had upgraded the website, but obviously spent more time trying to make it pretty, than have it actually work ( it hasnt showed season ticket availability for 2 days now ), and have up to date terms and conditions on the tickets it sells!

/rant over

p.s there 0871 line is pish too. 2 hours to even get put on hold. eveyy other attempt. 'sorry were too busy'..

one time i was put on hold for 35 mins, then a message saying 'sorry were too busy' and line dead.

no wonder the Q's are so big at ibrox

I think the problem is that the site was neglected by the previous administrators so it's now left to a skeleton staff to update it all.

I know for a fact they're working hard on this so if you find any missing/out of date data, then get in touch with them and they'll get to it.

Frankie, theres loads wrong with it on close inspection

however the main issue being there terms and conditions for tickets! they sell the tickets and give you a link to SPL terms and conditions.

not good. 1 man takes to update pages, and would have thought the terms and conditions of our tickets were fairly important considering all the changes recently.

I will drop them a politer email than my thread :)

Another problem is that the one man is also responsible for a variety of other tasks.

As always, we're spread too thinly behind the scenes.

Man, thats depressing. I know were in a bad way. ( well getting better hehe ). but thats really beyond a joke for a company like Rangers. marketting/media dept doesnt have a dedicated webmaster.

I bet theres thousands of capable candidates too that would happily do it for free if given a chance ;)

I know septic outsource most of theres, I'm much more comfortable with it being in-house. but as I said in previous thread, for security reasons alone, a dedicated webmaster should be on the case.

Bet there's some tech minded fans who would do it for free given the opportunity? Worth suggesting if you know who is responsible?

This is an idea i mentioned above. Only thing with that is the security concerns of such an action.

However, if they kept it to a handfull of capable people who didnt have permission to destroy things it could work nice.

oo and at least available season tickets is showing again

It has been suggested mate.

As bf says below, I think security is the issue.
