"Poor Charlie Shaw

He never saw

Where Alan Morton

Put the baw.

Poor Charlie, he sat doon and gret

When he saw the baw was in the net

Then Charlie ran

Tae tell his maw

Where Alan Morton put the baw.

Poor Charlie Shaw

He never saw

Where Alan Morton

Put the baw."

In season 1966/67, John Greig won a European Cup Winners Cup tie against Real Saragossa on the toss of a coin.

Rangers defeated Real Zaragossa 2-0, at Ibrox but lost the return match in Spain by the same margin. After 30 minutes of extra time, the teams were still level so the game was decided on the toss of a coin.

John Greig still has the coin amongst his football memorabilia. A French frank.

Harold Davis.

In 1951 whilst playing for East Fife, Harold was called up to do his national service and was sent to fight in the Korean War. Unfortunately, he was badly wounded and took two years to make a full recovery. In 1956, he was signed by Rangers and played alongside such greats as Jim Baxter, Willie Henderson, and Eric Caldow.
