If the money is deemed not owed to the new company that owns Rangers FC, then surely it should be handed to the old company that owned us? As far as I have read, there are three separate amounts: SPL prize money - ca £2.2m. Davis money (held by SFA) : ca £800,000. UEFA player compensation (held by SFA) : ca £330,000. I have a feeling that the EBT side letter investigation is as much about this money as title stripping. I think the SfA and the SPL want to keep the lot. Best case scenario for us is that anything owed pre-liquidation goes to the creditors and anything owed to us post liquidation we get as the side letters issue is nothing to do with us.
