Nor do grand players and grand managers guarantee you that. Tumshie RFC 0 Posted October 26, 2012 Share Posted October 26, 2012 Our whole youth set-up needs to be changed. I hate to say it but Celtic are well ahead of us in terms of that. They have adopted the model most other European teams use by getting the kids in before and after school to maximise their hours of playing the game and they are already seeing the results. They have got something like 10 players in the Scotland under-16 squad to our 1 or 2. Granted that doesn't mean they will go onto to be better players because of a number of factors but it certainly gives you an indicator of where we are.
