Instead of using the club as a political voice, why don't they just start a PUL political party which they could use to promote their way of life? Not one person has shown me or explained how shouting political/paramilitary/religious chants "supports" the team. If being a PUL is important to you, then go ahead. It adds to the atmosphere in the stadium, do you think the players actually listen to what the crowd chant during a game ? They see Rangers as an extension of their community, they want to protect that community from attack this is their way of doing it. Rangers means many different things to many different people its what makes us so great imo. Their not asking everybody to join them in fact going by the piece they make it damn hard to join, they don't even ask that you agree with them. They put a lot of time, effort and going by the article a damn lot of money into Rangers. I know you don't want that baggage as you call it at the club and that's your right to have those views, the thing is though I haven't heard one person on here or anywhere else say they wouldn't you as a fellow Bear sitting in Ibrox on a Saturday. Let put this another way there is folk who go to Ibrox and won't say a word or sing a song, or worst of all sit and moan about everything to do with Rangers. How are they supporting the team?
