Third division clubs told to stop ripping off Rangers fans

Recommended Posts

Same old same old Rangers come a calling and the prices go up, f#^king sick of it.

I actually believed it would different in the lower divisions it seems everybody comes under the spell of the big £ sign.

Yes, that's life, Allan.

Money makes the world go round.

I agree, so what if they charge extra, if you're not happy about it, then don't go.

We live in a Capitalist society, it's everyone right to make money.

They are making more money than they ever will, so the Rangers fans loyality is being used against them.

It does mate, but the world will keep turning if they charge us the same as everybody else.

I don't think folk would have an issue if they charged an extra 1 or 2 £££, when it starts approaching double, that's when it starts getting a tad ridiculous.

So they are maximising their revenue streams after years/decades of crowds of less than 1,000.

If Rangers fans are unhappy at paying £XX, then don't pay it. No one is forcing anyone to buy the tickets.

You make it sound like everyone just moans about it for the sake of it.

Ever considered that there's a decent number of people who will genuinely struggle to pay the prices? Football is meant to be about fans, why should they just accept being priced out of the game?

If you can't afford it, don't pay it, it's really quite simple.

And these guys will all be paying less than they were last season and probably made a saving on their season books too, so if anything, football is more affordable this season than it has been for years, so I guess that they are just moaning for the sake of it.

No one if forcing anyone to pay over the odds for tickets, if you're unhappy about the price then you don't pay it.

So fuck football being a game about the fans then? Just accept everything is about money these days like good little boys and girls?

Everything is and always has been about money.

But to reiterate, to go to the football this season is cheaper than it has been for years. If you don't like to pay £XX for a ticket then don't.

People will make their own minds up about whether they want and/or can go but they're perfectly entitled to a whinge and protest about ridiculous prices.

Football has certainly not 'always' been about money, even though it has been increasingly about it for some time.
