Derbies are not big loss

Recommended Posts

we wouldnt swap it for the champions league either. they are very lucky. guaranteed at least 20 million revenue just from a euro run this year. if they qualify again next year they will be even further ahead of us. it will take us years to catch up with them. the financial implosion at celtic we were told about from rangers fans was never going to happen. they know how to run their club.

Disagree, the monies brought in from champions league only helps satisfy their huge wage bill and look how close they came to not qualifying for the KO stages.

Without a champions league run they would be selling during this window, fact! and I wouldn't be surprised if a couple of first team regulars are still allowed to go.

When you've secured yourself the keys to five years worth of potential £20m + jackpots then of course you won't miss derbies that much nor will you miss a few shilling in place money to ensure you're still holding the key.

Lieswell is playing a blinder and the rest of Scottish football is still too consumed by its' hatred of us to see exactly what's going on.

If they've so much money then why do they continually seem to be looking for cut-price players then ? they never seem to spend any more than £1m or £2m at most. they've a massive wage bill and must have lost a fair amount due to the low attendances at their SPL home games.

Yes they'll be financially sound but no more than that.

Has anyone told them that Magners is an anagram of "Gers Man"?

if we are being honest with ourselves and adult about it, they could not care less if its an anagram of i am a rangers fan or im an orangeman, they have a different name on their shirts to us and will be getting more money for that. they got there first and thats all that matters.

how much did novo, boyd, larsson, moravcik and prso cost? transfer fees mean next to nothing. football is one industry where you dont get what you pay for.
