Im backing Argentina to win the World Cup next year, I think it will be Messi's tournament as its played in South America. Im lucky enough to remember seeing Maradona on TV - just. He was incredible and the best and that was even when he was getting kicked off the park, playing in a slightly different era where tackling was tougher, balls heavier and pitches not as good as today....if he played today he'd be unplayable. Messi is on the way to that. If he wins the CL this season then does it at the WC next summer he will go on par with Maradona. The term 'Great' gets banded about a lot but there is a top drawer where the best players go into.
