Brora Rangers manager David Kirkwood reckons his Rangers opposite number Ally McCoist should be knighted for his work at the Ibrox club in a year of off-the-field turmoil.

Former Gers team-mates Kirkwwood and McCoist go head-to-head in a friendly at Dudgeon Park tomorrow â?? with a capacity crowd of 2,300 expected.

Green must be worth at least a peerage then.

Green has done nothing for the game. Anyway, Ally's got his MBE already and I am not sure whether the Queen will award him a Sir anytime soon. That said, the reaction of the Yahoos would be a joy to behold.
