If this is the crux of Police Scotland's case, all it proves is that Green's prints weren't on a particular piece of paper (before or after it was printed.) It would also suggest that Police Scotland are particularly dense.

As a matter of factual enlightenment, Police Scotland are very far from dense and are actually rather smart.

This would suggest to me that whoever is putting this story about is also smart and thinks that we are dense.
