I can't say I'm impressed with any of our clothing ranges.

 

The Puma kits and training ranges are rank rotten and most of the official clobber in the Megastore doesn't even look like official Club gear, it looks like stuff designed by folk who aren't even designers.

 

No offense to anyone doing it themselves, but most of the unofficial clothing ranges I've seen are even worse looking.

 

There's a couple of total rip-offs in the watches section of the Megastore too. One example is the £120 'executive' watch, which is basically a £50/£60 Sekonda with a wee RFC crest on the face in place of the Sekonda logo.

Football clubs and those given relevant contracts generally take advantage of the emotional attachment of 'customers' and the quality / pricing / margin tends to illustrate this. The only way to change this dynamic is for supporters in good number to voice their complaints and remove their custom (eg. football strips) until matters are addressed.
