Zappa 0
http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/7318-fixtures-announcement Friday, 25 July 2014 12:00 Fixtures Announcement Written by Rangers Football Club TWO Rangers matches have been selected for TV broadcast in September resulting in an alteration of the fixtures. The away clash against Raith Rovers originally scheduled for Saturday 13th September at Starks Park has been moved to Friday 12th with a kick off of 7:45pm. The Light Blues will then host Alan Stubbs’ Hibs at Ibrox on Monday the 29th September, kicking off at 7:45pm. Both matches will be broadcast live on RangersTV outside the UK and Republic of Ireland, with all the best post match reaction, goals and highlights available along with the full match as live anywhere in the world. The matches will also be on live on BT Sport. Rangers are contracted under the SPFL broadcast agreement to play five home and ten away league games on live TV, if selected by broadcasters and this is why the dates have been altered. http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/7318-fixtures-announcement
Whosthedado 1,857
Monday night at Ibrox FFS!!!!! It's bad enough watching us after a few pints on a Saturday - remember them the 3pm kick offs on a Saturday!
Tannochsidebear 2,516
And all for the princely sum of about 50p from the SPFL tv deal for the inconvenience!
Zappa 0
The game through at Raith might not be affected much because a Friday night isn't too bad for people going to a game like that, but the Hibs game at Ibrox getting moved to the Monday night means our ticket sales are going to take a hammering. Could be quite costly for the Club.
MoodyBlue 0
Hibs game at home will be very badly attended. But in saying that, why should it be ? You don't see a drop in attendances at Monday night football in the EPL. Yes - its a whole different league/standard - but they still manage to get the crowds in on a Monday night - even at the prices they charge. We will see a big drop in numbers. I know we will. But why ??

MoodyBlue 0
Traveling season ticket holders how are those in N Ireland and further afield meant to get home at reasonable hour? Do we really rely on bears from NI that much, in order to have a big crowd at Ibrox ?? Realistically I don't think so. It's local bears 'just not fancying it'
