League Cup Programme

Written by Rangers Football Club

TOMORROW’S League Cup matchday programme is packed full with interviews with your favourite Rangers stars and exclusive photos.

With Peterhead the opponents at Ibrox Stadium in the first round of the competition, Mark Warburton has penned his thoughts ahead of the big game in his manager’s column and what he expects from Jim McInally’s Blue Toon.

Lee Wallace, meanwhile, has ambitions to become a gaffer himself one day and in the programme he discusses his passion for the technical side of the game and the impact Warburton and Davie Weir have had at Rangers.

On top of that there is the lowdown on Peterhead from Buchan Observer reporter Martyn Simpson in 'Journo’s View' and all the info from the previous meetings between the sides.

Rangers Historian David Mason returns to the programme for another season and, now in his 30th year with the club, he looks back at events in 1986 when he first walked through the Main Stand doors in an official capacity.

Also in Sunday’s issue is a one-to-one with Development squad skipper Ross McCrorie ahead of their first league game against Hearts on Tuesday night, ‘The Big Interview’ with Willie Henderson, a quiz and crossword, On This Day, Blueprints and 'The Last Word' with former Ibrox star Andy Little.

All this and much, much more can be found in this weekend’s official matchday programme, price just £3. Don’t miss it!
