AJAX manager Frank de Boer has been banned from speaking to pitchside Dutch reporters during his side's clash with Celtic .

 

UEFA have rejected attempts to get access to the Dutchman because of his Rangers background.

 

The former Barcelona star joined Rangers in 2004 to team up with brother Ronald who was enjoyed great success in Glasgow, and it has caused European football's governing body to ban pitchside interviews.

Reporter Marcel Maijer took to Twitter to reveal UEFA's decision saying they felt it was too high risk to conduct the interviews in front of the Celtic support.

Well done UEFA. A wise decision. At least someone recognises what goes on inside this vile stadium.

Now all we need is our politicians & Rhegan's SFA to take the necessary action against this club's supporters which is long overdue. One can only hope as they say.

More likely the timz hierarchy knew what would happen and requested this (and simultaneously made it look like they invited Ricksen) to avoid the inevitable shame it would bring upon them.
