People have off-days, even months ... and rather rubbish seasons. To say that his level is that of the championship because he rather returned to us than go up with Hearts is stretching it though ... IMHO in astronomical measures. It implies that he thought it was "safer with Rangers in the 2nd tier" than with Hearts in the top tier as "he could be found out"? He knew exactly what he would face up to with us, where you have pressure on every step from the moment you walk onto the playing field. Pressure from all corners. Did he have that with Hearts? Would he have had that with Hearts in the top tier? As has been said, far too lackadaisical, slow in thinking. Just look at last Livingstone game, opponents going passed him as if he wasn't there.
