Can those who are attending please bring strimmers and shears , basically anything that you can get your hands on.........petrol and matches excepted of course.

 

 

Petrol may be handy for the strimmer if it is petrol run.

The meeting details for tomorrow are as follows.

 

11.15 at the meeting point in Central Station.

 

12pm at the Brenfield Road Gatehouse entrance to Cathcart Cemtery.

 

We'll take a tour of the cemetery after the work is complete then it's Burgers and Beer at The Bank Pub.

A huge thanks to everyone who assisted yesterday, especially Alan and his good lady who travelled from Dumfries and stayed overnight just to be involved in the clearing.

 

We were also joined by the two sons and daughter-in-law of ex Rangers Chairman Rae Simpson.

 

James Henderson stone is now cleared and reading to be cleaned and re-lettered.

 

While at Cathcart we also gave the area around Mr Wilton's plot a spruce up.
