Sicko Hibs Fan Attacks Fernando Ricksen On Twitter

Recommended Posts

Lifted fro FF:

A TWITTER troll has taken a sick jibe at Fernando Ricksen’s battle with motor neurone disease.

The user posted a crass comment following Rangers’ loss to Hibs yesterday afternoon.

The troll made a jibe at Fernando Ricksen's illness

And the post, uploaded by @Dale_Lovell_97 has been condemned by other social media users.

He was replying to a Tweet made by a Rangers fan ahead of the clash at Ibrox.

@Leemurrayy wrote: “Not a single doubt that we aren’t going to beat hibs today.”

Responding, @Dale_Lovell_97 took a shot at the stricken ex-player, who uses a wheelchair as a result of his battle with MND.

He said: “Fernando Ricksen had more chance walking today than yous did beating us.”

The post was made at 5.21pm, after the final whistle of the game which saw Hibs win 3 – 2.

And other Twitter users have condemned the post.

One said: “Your a horrible we b*****d”.

While another posted: “That’s f*****g too far mate.”

Police Scotland said that they had not received any reports relating to the tweet.

However they confirmed that their specialist unit would be looking into any fallout from Saturday’s clash online and on social media in due course.

Ex-Rangers captain Ricksen tearfully revealed he was suffering from the deadly disease in 2013.

He told the Scottish Sun in April that the incredible backing from Gers supporters “keeps me alive”.

And earlier this year he revealed his renewed motivation from the example of world-renowned scientist Stephen Hawking, who has fought a form of MND for more than 50 years.

This is the same guy who attacked Lee Wallace after the SCF. Unbelievable.

Dale Pryde aka Dale Lovell

Shame the sun can't make the connection.

If the courts see it as a breach of the year long football banning order that he received under the Offensive behaviour at football and threatening communications act 2012 then he may well be supping some porridge.
