Sunderland hoping that it would go in their favour. And it DID. Birmingham lost 1 - 0 to preston throwing away the title whilst sunderland comforably won 4 - 0 against Luton. What a story. The competition is massive and only a few weeks ago there was about 8 teams going for the play offs.
