Hamburg To Trial Pyro

"Hamburg are to trial allowing fans to use pyrotechnics legally at a game for the first time this weekend.

The Bundesliga 2 club have successfully applied to allow fans to set off 10 smoke devices before their home match with Karlsruher on Saturday.".

Great to see HSV lead the way on this.

The fans at Bundesliga matches show up most of Europe when it comes to atmosphere, so it's no surprise this is happening there.

These incendiary posts of yours are only going to light the blue touch paper under a hooligan element who've long been carrying a torch for pyrotechnics at football. Unless you've such a burning desire for conflagration in the stands, I suggest you avoid inflaming the situation further in case the smoke gets in your eyes and the entire affair explodes in your face.

atmosphere,

Does this relate to the stench of the smoke coming off these horrid things and does it take into fans, and there will be many, with respiratory problems.

When I am at game and flares/smoke bombs etc. are set off it totally does nothing for me except pi** me off.

Aye we are a poor bedridden nation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes we seem now to be a bunch of weaklings and people moaning if anyone stands up, shouts, etc etc. At lot just to prefer to sit quietly in their seats and hardly do/say anything :) :) # middle aged moan of the day

Thanks for that suppose at nearly 70 I am the new "middle age"? and prefer a watching brief.

Having detested the use of, fireworks, as it used to be for years  and having recovered from pneumonia at this time last year I have even more reason to detest the use of the even more detestable pyro.
