Aye was pissing me off.

Finished 4-2. From official site:

RANGERS have beaten German amateurs SV Lippstadt 4-2 after goals from Filip Sebo, Nacho Novo and a debut double from Lee McCulloch.

Both teams started eagerly despite the temperature nudging to an uncomfortable 35C by kick-off, the players perhaps grateful that a large swathe of the pitch was cast in shadow from the nearby forest.

Issa Issa sent a snap-shot wide for the home side before McCulloch passed up two chances to net on his Rangers debut, seeing his first effort blocked by the keeper and the second drift just wide fromhimself down to send the keeper the wrong way from the penalty spot.

Sebo looked in the mood and could have had his second just after the half-hour mark. Barry Ferguson cut the Barry Ferguson's free kick.

Rangers went in front after 11 minutes when Sebo finished coolly after latching on to a pass inside the box but the lead would last only five minutes, Mirsad Gutic equallising for the delighted hosts.

Their celebrations were cut short, however, when Nacho Novo was fouled in the box and the Spaniard dusted ball back to the Slovakian and his acrobatic scissor kick brought out an equally impressive save from keeper Milos Mandic.

The next goal, though, came at the other end, Gutic's second goal of the evening drawing his side level once more.

Nacho Novo penaltySasa Papac was the next to chance his luck in attack, the Bosnian denied his first ever Rangers goal by another smart save by Mandic.

That would be Papac's last involvement in the match and - as had been pre-arranged - he was replaced at half-time by Alan Hutton having also played the entire 90 minutes on Friday night.

The pace dropped noticeably after the break but Rangers went back in front after 58 minutes. McCulloch, making his Rangers debut, burst through and shot smartly although Mandic probably should have kept it out.

McCulloch, Novo and SeboThe Light Blues were bossing the game by this point and Libor Sionko saw his header strike the post with Andy Webster nodding the rebound over shortly before McCulloch's volley was deflected past the post.

He would not be denied just moments later when he powered in a header from Novo's corner for his second of the game - despite the stadium announcer again giving the goal to Charlie Adam who was by this point on the bench having been replaced by Andrew Shinnie.

Walter Smith then handed John Fleck his first-team debut as a replacement for Novo, the first 15 year-old to play in the top team since Derek Ferguson.

RANGERS: Smith; Murray, Webster, Cuellar, Papac (Hutton 46); Sionko, Ferguson, Adam (Shinnie 71), McCulloch; Novo, Sebo

Subs: McGregor, Weir, Hemdani, Thomson, Boyd, Beasley

LIPPSTADT: Mandic, Wurm, Nagorniewicz, Issa, Hustadt, Fastellini, Harder, Gutic, Neumann, Telenga, Berwecke
