Probably a generational thing, I grew up with the red ones and prefer that.

 

I did like the white socks with the blue tops but i believe our record when wearing them is not very good (although our record in general is not very good of late)

That's our first manufactured kit. It's not the first kit we played in, we played in blue rugby jumpers.

 

Or do you think we played shirtless until 1876?

Were those tops not loaned from a boating club for this photo? I am sure I read somewhere that they had to borrow those as their own tops were filthy, having played a game that day.
