Just looking back through the years there, I quite like that we kept a home kit for x amount of years in a row whilst only altering the away and third.

Not a thing that happens in football anymore really, merchandising saw an end to that.

I wonder who had it first! Us or them , I’m not researching but I’m guessing we abandoned it and they picked it up 🤣

Did they not steal the hoops strip from the Edinburgh tims along with half their team?

Hibs only had one hooped kit in their history believe it or not, 1876.

The tims wore vertical stripes until 1902 when they became the incarnation of shite we see today.

No away kit in olden times. The home team changed strip if there were a colour clash.

I don’t like all white. That’s for weddings or the ballet.

Blue shirts for the main strip. No other ever. Any suggestion to the contrary should incur a traitor’s penalty.

The socks must be black with red tops. That’s the Rangers. Everyone knows it.

The best alternative was the blue and white striped number worn occasionally 1962-65, otherwise plain red will do fine for matches against St Johnstone or Kilmarnock.

Away is newer terminology typically used to be called change kit.

The "founding fathers" kit would be a change kit if you want to be pedantic.

Tom Miller on RTV stills refers to them as that tbf 😂
